Deer {Halloween Makeup}

Hi beauties! Today’s Halloween makeup look brings me back to one of my faaaaaaaaavorite movies of all time, “My Cousin Vinny”!!  You know? That infamous quote that starts out with”Imagine you’re a deer..” and ends with a “BANG!”  I decided to keep this look cute and clean, rather make it look like Bambi got shot and is what’s for dinner. It’s a pretty simple and easy look for a fun last minute costume idea. You don’t have to get as crazy as I did with the CUT CREASE, and still make it look adorable. With that said, I will move into how to get this LOOK!

I first take a matte cream colored eyeshadow and put it all over my lid up to the brow bone. Then I line the lashline and waterline of my eyes with the eye pencil to give it that illuminating look. I then lightly dust a brownish/grey color into my crease for dimension. While using that same color with a stiff tapered crease brush, I run the color into my crease extending it beyond my eye making a PRONOUNCED line. Then I run my blending brush over it, just a tad, to smoke it a bit. From there you want to take a concealer or a light color cream eyeshadow and fill in your lid to the crease with it. Make sure to extend this color out under the line on your outer eye. From there you can add a shadow on top, or leave it as is. I chose to leave it as is. It gives it more of a dramatic look. From there you can add some dark shadow to your lashline to give it the smokey look. Next you want to apply your foundation all over. You will use your light concealer in the areas posted on the video, as those are the areas for highlighting. I then mixed a few things together to get the right tone I was looking for for the shading and contouring. I kept the darker colors on the outside and worked my way in with the lighter brown colors. From there is the trickiest part- the eyeliner {UGGGGGGH}. Again, you need a steady hand for this and this will be the area most people struggle with, so JUST KEEP PRACTICING! Follow the video for guidance on this part. Finish off the look by adding the black lines to the nose connecting to the top lip and adding white dots on the outer portion of your forehead and cheekbones.

So, what do you think? You don’t need fancy products for this look. You can go to your nearest pharmacy that carries the cheap Halloween makeup and make this look happen. Hell, most of it is regular makeup with the exception of the lines I drew in and white dots- which you can STILL use eyeliner or something similar for.

Good luck with this look, and as always,  tag me in your photos!

Xo, D
